Ever wondered how fund managers invest their money?
Jenny Rodgers and Ritu Vohora, fund managers for M&G Investments, will cover what M&G do and also go into detail about investment management, their investment philosophy and the decision-making process that is involved when finding and choosing their investments.
Jenny Rodgers has worked at M&G Investments for 16 years. She is a Fund Manager in the Macro Investment Business. She’s also the Co-Fund Manager of M&G Growth Fund and Deputy Fund Manager of M&G Episode Defensive Fund. Previously she worked at Prudential. Jenny graduated from the University of Exeter in 1991 and she is a CFA charterholder.
Ritu has worked at M&G Investments for 12 years. She is an Investment Director. Previously, she has worked in Portfolio Construction and Risk at M&G. Ritu completed her undergraduate studies at the University of Warwick before completing her masters at the LSE. Ritu is also a CFA charterholder.
M&G is a leading retail and institutional fund manager, known for its long-term and conviction-led approach to investing. They also function as the asset manager for the Prudential Group in Europe. M&G currently manage over £255.4bn (June 2016) in equities, multi-asset, fixed income, real estate and cash for clients across Europe and Asia. M&G also manages more esoteric assets within the private finance arena such as Structured Products (including CDOs), Leveraged Finance, Project and Infrastructure Finance.
